The Parliament Hill Softball League consists of teams made up of friends, family and staff of the House of Commons and the Senate. It all began with pick up games on the front lawn of Parliament Hill. Today, the league's fourteen mixed teams battle it out on various diamonds throughout the City of Ottawa.

During the playoffs, teams compete on both sides of the playoffs grid. The first half of the tournament split will have teams vying for the Roy Overfors Memorial Cup, while the second half of the tournament split will compete for the Bob Allen and Jean-Paul Lorrain Memorial Cup.

The season begins in mid-May ending in mid-September with a league playoff tournament.
